Who we serve

Spanishtown serves church leaders, lay and clergy, from all faith traditions.

Applicants are accepted based on three criteria:

1)Early registration.

2)Ability to communicate in Spanish.  It is essential at Spanishtown to be able to speak at a low intermediate level or higher.  For beginners in Spanish, formal classes will be needed to build a strong foundation is basic vocabulary and grammar.  When two or more years of high school Spanish – or the equivalent – have been completed, a person may be ready for complete immersion at Spanishtown.

3)A plan for future ministry.  Priority is given to applicants who have a clear and definite plan to use their Spanish to serve others in the church.
